Our Beliefs
  • The objective of the church is to proclaim the gospel (Matthew 28:19-20), administer church ordinances of Believer's Baptism and the Lord's Supper (Matt. 28:19-20, I Cor. 11:23-34), to build up the Saved through the teaching of Scripture in regular services, Sunday School, media, prayer services, Bible study and revival services, to watch over one another in brotherly love, to remember each other and pray for each other, to earnestly contend for and never depart from the faith which was once delivered unto the saints; specifically the teaching of the Holy Scriptures.
  • The King James Bible is the perfect, inspired, inerrant and preserved Word of God, not only in the original autographs, but that His "Words" are preserved. (Ps. 12:6-7)
  • The Triune God: one true and living God, eternally existing and manifesting Himself to us in three divine Persons: Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Equal in every divine perfection and executing distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption. (Gen. 1:26; John 10:30, 36; John 14:26; John 15:26; John 16:13-15; John 17:22; II Cor. 13:14)
  • The literal six day creation in which God created the Heavens and the earth in a literal six days.
  • The Church is a congregation of "born again" baptized believers which acknowledges Christ as its Head; is united in the belief of the gospel; agrees to meet together in worship. Membership must be preceded by two important qualifications; salvation and baptism (full immersion). (Acts 2:41, 42; I Cor. 3:10, 11; 12:13; Eph. 1:22-23; 2:19-22; Col. 1:18)
  • Salvation is by grace through faith in the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary, and that the eternal security of the truly regenerate believer is being kept by the power of God. (John 10:28-29; Romans 8:39; 10:9-13; Eph. 2:8-9; II Tim. 1:12; I Pet. 1:5; Jude 24)
  • Upon death those who have placed their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation do immediately pass into His presence and there remain in conscious bliss until the resurrection of the body at His coming when soul and body reunited shall be associated with Him forever in glory; but that the souls of unbelievers remain after death in conscious misery in hell unto the final judgement of the Great White Throne at the close of the millennium, when soul and body reunited shall be cast into the lake of fire from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power. (Luke 16:19-26; 23:43; II Cor. 5:8; Phil. 1:23; II Thess. 1:7-9; Rev. 20:11-15; 14:9-14; I Thess. 1:7-9; Rev. 20:11-15; 14:9-14; I Thess. 4:13-18)
  • The Biblical doctrine of separation which encompasses three things; 1) the separation of the local church from all affiliation and fellowship with those who deny the verities of the "faith which was once delievered to the saints" and from those individuals and orginazations similarily associated; 2) the separation of the individual believer from all wordly practices that may dishonour the Saviour; 3) The separation of the church from government control. (Rom. 12:1-2; II Cor. 6:11-7:1; II Thess. 3:6, 14, 15, I John 2:15-17; II John 9-11; Jude 3)
  • The sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman as designed by God. This church is against any and all forms of homosexuality. (Lev. 18:22-23; 20:13; Rom. 1:26-27)
  • The sanctity of life as given by God and hold all life dear, therefore we oppose any and all forms of abortion or euthanasia (Ex. 20:13)
